Just curious about whether you had thoughts on this.  I'd be happy to
see the priority inversion fixed, since it would make it more obvious
to tools that libavc1394-0 needs to be kept co-installable with other
non-extra packages (since common packages like vlc-nox depend on it).

If there is anything I can do to help (a debdiff incorporating patches
from open libavc1394 bugs?), just ask.
