Please note that this is done: it will be included in the next upload
of apt-listbugs to the unstable distribution.

If I understand your reply correctly (the part quoted below), querybts
is indeed using the text interface for you, when invoked by
apt-listbugs, after spitting out the python-gtk2 warning.
In other words, the showing of bug reports works correctly, apart from
the annoying warning.

I am not sure I understand what you mean by "standalone" mode.
Could you please explain more clearly what you do, what you expect to
obtain and what you get instead?
