fresh install of Official Snapshot i386 NETINST Binary-1 20111208-21:39
* What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
open synaptic. click on menu: Settings > Repositories
ineffective)?
* What was the outcome of this action?
checkboxes for software sources can't be clicked. you can click, it does the UI
animation of clicking on it, but revert to uncheck state right after.
Also for the Updates tab are grayed out with no explanation.
* What outcome did you expect instead?
that i were able to select at least Contrib and non-free.
