Package: bash Version: 4.2-1 Severity: normal Hello, I upgraded to the most recent bash package from 4.1-3 and discovered that the M-f (forward word), M-b (backward word), and M-Bksp (kill previous word) shortcuts had broken.
I know there was a new /etc/bash.bashrc installed, but reverting to my previous version (which only globally enabled bash_completion) did not fix the issue. This looks like a more-than- or something-other-than- bash bug. I manually reinstalled 4.1-3, but the issue was not fixed. The other packages upgraded at the same time do not appear obviously relevant (the list is included below), so I think I need some help troubleshooting the issue.
