Hallo all, I could reproduce this issue und I have solved this.
I had the same problem as Felix. So I have checked the installed packages on my sid. I have seen that I have two "autoconf" packages installed - autoconf and autoconf2.13. After removing of the package autoconf2.13 the build from source worked as expected. To solve this bugreport I would suggest add a conflict to autoconf2.13 to the build-depends part of the control file.
