Package: backupninja
Version: 0.9.10-1
Severity: wishlist

Hi.

I think it'd be great to have a feature added to backupninja so that it
periodically can perform reports on status of destination backup spaces and/or
perform checks on the backups (like trying to restore over /dev/null just to
check that the (remote) backups are still accessible/readable/not-corrupted).

At least for duplicity backend, the collection-status would be a periodic
(monthly ?) report I'd personally welcome, sent to me by mail.

Hope this helps.

Best regards,
