Package: udev Version: 175-3 Severity: minor After doing
xvii:/home/vinc17# /lib/udev/keymap -i input/event17 Press ESC to finish, or Control-C if this device is not your primary keyboard or via sudo, as described in /usr/share/doc/udev/README.keymap.txt.gz a succession of [Return]'s is sent to the window that has the input focus. The problem seems to be due to the fact that I release the [Return] key after the program has started (since it is started as soon as [Return] is pressed) and the system thinks that [Return] is still pressed, so that the key is repeated. The utility should first wait for the key to be released. In the mean time, a workaround is to do: sleep 1; sudo /lib/udev/keymap -i input/eventX -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.1.0-1-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=POSIX, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages udev depends on: ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.41 ii libc6 2.13-24 ii libselinux1 2.1.0-4 ii libudev0 175-3 ii lsb-base 3.2-28 ii util-linux 2.20.1-1.1 Versions of packages udev recommends: ii pciutils 1:3.1.8-2 ii usbutils 1:005-2 udev suggests no packages. -- debconf information: udev/new_kernel_needed: false udev/title/upgrade: udev/reboot_needed: udev/sysfs_deprecated_incompatibility: -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
