reassign 656151 nilfs-tools severity 656151 important thanks On Mon, Jan 16, 2012 at 11:20:19PM +0100, [email protected] wrote: > since mount.nilfs2 wants to write to /etc/mtab, a symlink to /proc/mounts > prevents it and results in not starting nilfs_cleanerd (the garbage > collector), so that the filesystem unnecessarily will run out of space.
Writing to /etc/mtab is no longer allowed. This means that nilfs-tools mount.nilfs2 needs updating to use libmount, like all of the other mount helpers have already done. This is not a bug in initscripts, hence I'm reassigning to nilfs-tools. If this causes dataloss, please upgrade the severity to "serious". If this bug has not been reported to the nilfs-tools upstream, it should also be done. Regards, Roger -- .''`.
