that's apparently a gen2 card, as in “very old”, and upstream suggests such a setup won't help run GNOME at all. Newer hardware or different desktop environment I guess? :-/ Good luck. Upstream bug report: http://bugs.freedesktop.org/41793 Mraw, KiBi.
