Hello Dmitry, I have to say this version isn't okay. Because this version of libwv has an ABI bump, its SONAME has changed from libwv-1.2.so.3 to libwv-1.2.so.4. This requires a rename of the binary package: from libwv-1.2-3 to libwv-1.2-4. So please change it. (And read on, there is another change required.)
http://www.netfort.gr.jp/~dancer/column/libpkg-guide/libpkg-guide.html This will make a library transition in the archive because there are packages directly/indirectly depend on libwv, namely: mimedefang lyx mew mew-beta w3m-el w3m-el-snapshot gwrite swish-e horde3 namazu2-index-tools hyperestraier Doing a transition needs to coordinate with Release Team, and it would be great if you can upload the new package to _experimental_ before uploading to unstable, and with the time frame report bugs to respective dependent packages (if there are issues need them to fix) and so they can react. Note: issues can be fixed by a rebuild without source change does not need to be reported to maintainers of those packages. http://release.debian.org/transitions/ e.g. http://bugs.debian.org/656758 -- Regards, Aron Xu -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
