Hello,
I can't get kaffeine to load xine engine (kaffeine_part) even with
kaffeine-xine installed. Both configuration wizard and kaffeine
itself complain that they can't find kaffeine_part no matter what
I do if started with engine set to xine.
kaffeine: No DVB device found.
kaffeine: Window manager: KWin found
kaffeine: Kaffeine:: Try to load service: kaffeine_part
kaffeine: No KMediaPart...
Gstreamer engine loads and works but it's not an option for me.
I've tried to debug with gdb (after recompiling with -O0 -g), but
gdb hangs in follow-fork-mode set to child so no luck with this method.
strace reveals that kaffeine doesn't even attempt to open
/usr/lib/kde3/libkaffeinepart.{so,la}. I'm out of ideas what to do, but
I suspect this is related to the architecture I'm running on. If someone
tested kaffeine on amd64 and reported results, we could know for sure.
