Hi,

After long thoughts (more than a year), I've decided that I would not
package upstream versions anymore. The reasons are:

- The source of the package in Debian have diverged from upstream
- Upstream didn't accept my patches, and instead rewrote a lot
- Current version in Debian is quite fine and works well
- It would be too much work to merge with upstream, and I have no time
for it
- The Debian package has been tested a lot, and there's lots of fixes
that really, are all needed
- Upstream has been unresponsive, and didn't even react when I warned
about the security issue that mysqldumps were saved as word readable

So, unless someone stands to do the work of merging the Debian package
version with upstream source, I will close this bug.

Please let me know what you think of the above, and if you have found
nice upstream features that you think should be added in this package.

Cheers,

Thomas Goirand (zigo)
