In other words, '<input type="file">' tags produce a button that doesn't work for you. Very odd. Works for me™. Does downgrading to some previous version from testing or http://snapshot.debian.org/ help? Do you use GNOME, KDE, or some other environment? Does "dmesg" reveal anything having segfaulted?
