Package: libunicap2
Version: 0.9.5-1.1+b1
Severity: wishlist

Dear Maintainer,

unicap provides a frontend to a number of video capturing apis, among them v4l
and v4l2.
given that the v4l(2) support is only partially functional (on all my machines i
only managed to make unicap capture from a single v4l2 device - a built in
webcam) and unicap doesn't handle those partially supported devices well (read:
it might hang), it would be nice if there was a way to selectively disable a
given backend.

since backend are implemented as plugins anyhow (living in
/usr/lib/unicap2/cpi), it would be great, if those plugins were installable
separately, with the default (via "Suggest") being all of them.
