Currently, debfoster (called with --minimize) removes eatmydata; that's suboptimal :) I guess, eatmydata should be added to debfoster-options but only if no-eatmydata is false. (I have to admit that I'm too tired right now to find out how this is done in python, and for someone speaking python it's probably trivial.)
