Very nice I'm happy you've made it work. :) > > So... Is it some magic? Or something has been fixed since sid release?
Well, you're speaking of "sid" AKA "unstable" as if it were something which have a particular release when in fact it is a fast moving target, always changing. See http://www.debian.org/releases/ It may break sometimes so perhaps "testing" would be more balanced choice. Also if you building or installing pristine software as root, system may be corrupted by overwriting some system files with unexpected versions. It is always better to use 'fakeroot' or debian build system. You may check and identify corrupted files by running command sudo debsums -c If you try command aptitude changelog libglib2.0-dev you may read what specifically has changed in the package and when. Please confirm if we can close the bug. Regards, Dmitry. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
