Thank you for the patch.  Yes indeed, the backticks in there
does not work very well.  The same problem applies to qemu-kvm
as well.  I just made backports of both packages to squeeze and
noticed this issue too.  Now fixed there and pending upload in
wheezy for both qemu and qemu-kvm.
