Package: python-setuptools
Version: 0.6.24-1
Severity: important
Hi,
I'm currently seeing:
$ python2.6 -c 'import setuptools'
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "<string>", line 1, in <module>
File "/usr/lib/python2.6/dist-packages/setuptools/__init__.py", line 2, in
<module>
from setuptools.extension import Extension, Library
File "/usr/lib/python2.6/dist-packages/setuptools/extension.py", line 1, in
<module>
from distutils.core import Extension as _Extension
ImportError: No module named core
There doesn't seem to be a distutils.core anymore. It's there on squeeze
though. Same happens with python2.7.
Cheers,
