I am running 3 LUKS encrypted disks in a software RAID5.
After upgrading to version 2:1.4.1-2 of cryptsetup
cryptsetup luksOpen /dev/sdb sdb_crypt
on any of these disks failed, returning the error
LUKS keyslot 4 is invalid.
LUKS keyslot 5 is invalid.
Hi, this is just new check in this version, your LUKS header is already
corrupted. (I guess corrupted kesylots offsets.)
Please can you paste output of
cryptsetup luksOpen /dev/sdb sdb_crypt --debug ?
No need to worry, it is just additional check and if you are able to open
volume with old version it is easy to fix without any data loss.
Thanks,
Milan
