Hello Bacula developers,
We received the below bug report through the Debian bug-tracking system.
I have checked the build system, and we do have HAVE_TLS defined in
config.h. I'll note that the Gnome console build line does indeed
include -lssl.
You can find a sample build log here:
http://buildd.debian.org/fetch.php?&pkg=bacula&ver=1.38.11-6&arch=amd64&stamp=1158940178&file=log&as=raw
Thanks,
-- John

Subject: gnome console lacks TLS support
Package: bacula-console-gnome
Version: 1.38.11-5
Severity: normal
It accepts all the TLS options and then tries to talk to the director in
plaintext. The director requires TLS, so this eventually gets:
Authorization problem: Remote client did not advertise required TLS support.
08-Oct 12:56 Maxwell-dir: ERROR in authenticate.c:369 Unable to authenticate
console "*UserAgent*" at client:192.168.65.14:36131.
The exact same config (minus the font section) works with the text
console.
