Subject: Bug#462277: option to disable pid file writing
Date: Wed, 23 Jan 2008 18:34:35 +0100
User-Agent: Mutt/1.5.17+20080114 (2008-01-14)
Package: dhcp3-client
Version: 3.1.0-2
Severity: wishlist
I don't want/need a PID file for dhclient when calling it from
netconf. Thus, I pass '-pf /dev/null', but this gets me
There is already a pid file /dev/null with pid 4203059
Either dhclient should take an option to disable PID file writing,
or it should not warn when given /dev/null.
Thanks,
