Hi,

Please retain the CC to [email protected] in your
response, so that the Debian BTS has a record.

Running

gnuplot5-qt <<EOF
plot '-' using 1:2 t '' with line
0 0
10 10
e
pause mouse close
print "Done"
EOF

creates a window. With ResizeOpaque set, resizing the window causes
the window to flicker rapidly. The window also does not resize
properly, as the size of the window does not correspond to the
position where the mouse is released. This is most apparent when one
drags a corner of the window, move the mouse around many times, then
release the mouse button. The window will flicker and rapidly change
size many times before settling on a size different from the final
mouse position.

According to other Debian users, this does not happen while using
Gnome, KDE, or IceWM.

Vincent Chen
