severity 289633 important thanks The quoted part reads "should only use", it does not read "has to use". I've seen quite a few bug reports about bashism, but none with this high severity.
I leave it up to the discretion of the maintainer to reduce the
severity lower.
Will dash only write "-e" to the log? Or will it simply write -e
followed by the message, just without interpreting of the escape
characters?
