In that case, I'm tagging this bug as a sid bug, so it doesn't show up on the list of release-critical issues currently affecting sarge. FWIW, it might have been better to open a new serious bug of the "maintainer thinks this package is unsuitable for testing" variety, rather than reusing a wishlist bug for this purpose.
