severity 294725 normal retitle 294725 k3b crashes on startup unless started by root

Hi,
I have just realised that whatever k3b is doing when it crashes on startup, it doesn't do that when I run it as root. So that's not as bad, though clearly it isn't ideal either.
Sorry for the hassle of having a mistitled bug with the wrong severity submitted at you.
