Since the binary format of the dictionaries has changed in 0.60, this dictionary must be rebuilt. The general approach to transition a dictionary is: * Use the Aspell packages available at http://people.debian.org/~pyro/pending/ * Build-depend on aspell (>> 0.60) * Change "Provides: aspell-dictionary" to "Provides: aspell6-dictionary" * Note that the dictionary files previously located in /usr/share/aspell and /usr/lib/aspell are now all located in /usr/lib/aspell-0.60, and adjust the package accordingly. I'm currently building a staging area to make the transition as smooth as possible. Please contact me once you've prepared the new package and I'll add it to the staging area. I plan to make the aspell 0.60 upload in a couple days (tentatively sometime Monday). If you have not prepared a package by then, I'll elevate this bug to RC and NMU shortly thereafter. -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.10-ac12 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) --------------------------------------- Received: (at 295008-close) by bugs.debian.org; 21 Mar 2005 22:53:41 +0000 >From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Mar 21 14:53:40 2005 Return-path: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Received: from newraff.debian.org [208.185.25.31] (mail) by spohr.debian.org with esmtp (Exim 3.35 1 (Debian)) id 1DDVmF-0002Y3-00; Mon, 21 Mar 2005 14:53:39 -0800 Received: from katie by newraff.debian.org with local (Exim 3.35 1 (Debian)) id 1DDVfu-0000lK-00; Mon, 21 Mar 2005 17:47:06 -0500 From: Ivo Timmermans <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] X-Katie: $Revision: 1.55 $ Subject: Bug#295008: fixed in dutch 1:0.1e-33 Message-Id: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sender: Archive Administrator <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Date: Mon, 21 Mar 2005 17:47:06 -0500 Delivered-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] X-Spam-Checker-Version: SpamAssassin 2.60-bugs.debian.org_2005_01_02 (1.212-2003-09-23-exp) on spohr.debian.org X-Spam-Status: No, hits=-6.0 required=4.0 tests=BAYES_00,HAS_BUG_NUMBER autolearn=no version=2.60-bugs.debian.org_2005_01_02 X-Spam-Level: Source: dutch Source-Version: 1:0.1e-33 We believe that the bug you reported is fixed in the latest version of dutch, which is due to be installed in the Debian FTP archive: aspell-nl_0.1e-33_i386.deb to pool/main/d/dutch/aspell-nl_0.1e-33_i386.deb dutch_0.1e-33.diff.gz to pool/main/d/dutch/dutch_0.1e-33.diff.gz dutch_0.1e-33.dsc to pool/main/d/dutch/dutch_0.1e-33.dsc idutch_0.1e-33_i386.deb to pool/main/d/dutch/idutch_0.1e-33_i386.deb myspell-nl_0.1e-33_all.deb to pool/main/d/dutch/myspell-nl_0.1e-33_all.deb wdutch_0.1e-33_all.deb to pool/main/d/dutch/wdutch_0.1e-33_all.deb A summary of the changes between this version and the previous one is attached.
