Hi, For anyone who is following, I've now sent this to ftp-admin for action, since serious licence problems have been discovered, and too many people can't tell the difference between it and something eligible for Sarge.
We're very close to a 2.6 release candidate which will hopefully be a more satisfactory replacement, I hope to have one uploaded before long. In the meantime, I trust you'll all expedite its passage through NEW when it is by being _very_ polite to ftp-admin who once again have had someone else's cock-up roll all the way to being their problem. (and mine) ie. do not even think about whining to them if your favorite package has disappeared and you are only just reading this now. (or me, really) Sorry to those of you you maintain a package that needed this. I'll try to keep the down time as short as possible.
