It was installed as sarge while sarge was testing. Then it was held at sarge for a while until etch froze, after which it was upgraded to etch. When etch was released, it was continued to be held at etch. Mid-April, I installed update-manager on it, and after that it seems to have found out that it wanted to make the system sid. It should be mentioned that at some point during this cycle, sid was indeed in sources.list, but pinned away. However, it definitely hasn't been for the past month or so, yet dpkg.log clearly shows update-manager upgrading stuff. (Well, it shows _something_ upgrading stuff, and my mother has been noticing update-manager wanted to upgrade stuff almost every day.) > Would you be able to find which Packages update-manager uses?
