Package: libasound2 Version: 1.0.14-1 Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable
Hi, since the last upgrade to 1.0.14-1 no application plays sounds anymore. I tried alsaconf but it does not load any driver. My card is correctly detected as Intel Corporation 82801DB/DBL/DBM but at the end of the alsaconf procedure I get: Running update-modules... Loading driver... Usage: /etc/init.d/alsa {unload|reload|force-unload|force-reload|suspend|resume} Setting default volumes... amixer: Mixer attach default error: No such device Saving the mixer setup used for this in /var/lib/alsa/asound.state. /usr/sbin/alsactl: save_state:1253: No soundcards found... ....And no module has been loaded best regards -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.21-1-686 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages libasound2 depends on: ii libc6 2.5-10 GNU C Library: Shared libraries libasound2 recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
