Dear Youssef,

a user of arabi as part of TeX Live in the Debian/GNU Linux distribution
has reported a problem:

File /usr/share/texmf-texlive/tex/latex/arabi/arabic.ldf is asking for latex package named Arabicore.sty while this one is provided as arabicore.sty. This seems to be caused by the original package sources (which was developed for windows latex).

The same problem also exists in the files on CTAN, and probably shows up
on every system which has a case-sensitive filesystem (i.e. also on Mac
OSX).

What do you suggest? Should we rename the file to Arabicore.sty with
capital A, or rather change arabic.ldf (and probably other files) and
replace Arabicore with arabicore?

Thank you in advance, Frank
Yes please, keep only the filename with lowercase letters and/or eventually change the line of code in arabic.ldf that calls it. I should post soon an update to the package with some corrections other improvements. I got very busy these last time.

Thank you very much.

Youssef.
