Hi maintainers ! These bugs have different issues to solve before we may close them..
* Licence version: the licence under which the file is licenced (either 2 or 3.01) has to be cleared. * Location of the file: We already have three packages using it, with SPIP it will be 4, so it's time to think about packaging a separate package for the pear module. Furthermore, it's the only way to fulfill with the PHP licence since the licence applies to PHP and Zend only (and pear by extension I guess...) * Maintainability of the code: Although we can see that the base code provided by this file is valuable, the PEAR project seems dead or unmaintained... Is it possible to package a pear module that we know is dead ? Of coourse, a fork, or better, a commit access to the project would be perfect, but I don't have enough time for this.. Hope to hear so good news from you or anyone else ...
