Hi, I just became aware that I made a mistake. This bug only occurs if one modifies the swig interface file (like I did while working on #439112), so it should not prevent an unmodified libsvm from building properly.
However, it might be a good idea to build-depend on swig anyway and generate fresh wrappers with the most recent swig instead of using the included ones. This way the wrapper could benefit from fixed swig bugs automatically by simply rebuilding the package.
