thanks

Coin,

In fact, i should update the README.Debian, which is obsolete. In the
past, you had to copy the template files manually, but now the rbot
wizard does everything for you.

I don't know how you created the bot directory, but i guess you just did
a mkdir without even looking at the README.Debian, which is clearly
wrong.

Just destroy your directory and run "rbot <dir>", it will then create it
for you and handle all the template files for you. Here is a transcript
of an initial install i just run:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ rbot z
D, [2007/09/06 15:10:29#1661] DEBUG -- ircbot.rb:60: debug test
I, [2007/09/06 15:10:29#1661] INFO -- ircbot.rb:61: log test

I, [2007/09/06 15:10:31#1661] INFO -- ircbot.rb:240:in `initialize': no

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ ls z
conf.yaml keywords.rbot.old lart levels.rbot log.0000000001 logs

Downgrading the bug severity, as rbot is perfectly usuable, and planning
a fix for README.Debian.
