This is cause by a bug in dak (e.g. #232730). A possible workaround is to do a complete update with a new orig tarball. This means a new version number. If upstream is not releasing soon you can do something like nameing the old tarball entagged_0.31.ds1.orig.tar.gz and use 0.31.ds1-1 as version number for the upload.
