According to POSIX, headers are not generally allowed to make symbols from other headers visible (IIRC). But since stddef.h does not actually define any symbols, it might be an exception.

Regardless of any other reason that this change might have occurred, it can only improve POSIX compliance, since other systems will almost certainly need this change as well.

Lucas, did you have any more of these?

There was at least one more. I know because I patched it, too. It's #453165 (and the related bug, #453159).
