While looking at the Debian update I noticed that you use "Conflicts:
libglibmm-2.4-dev (<< 2.14.1-1)", or glibmm2.4-reference which was in
libglibmm-2.4-dev moved to libglibmm-2.4-doc,a Replaces should be used
there. There is also no need to Conflicts when moving files between
packages, the Replaces field is enough for a smooth upgrade. The
attached patch should fix the issue
