svk cannot be installed with perl 5.10 (the current version in unstable) as it depends on libversion-perl, which depends on perl (<< 5.9.0). If I understand correctly libversion-perl is just for perl <= 5.8.x: Overloaded version objects for all versions of Perl. This module implements all of the features of version objects which will be part of Perl 5.10.0 except automatic v-string handling.
