Hi,

I have already fixed it in package version 2.0.2-3 as reads:
Description:
xsidplay - Music player for tunes from C64
Changes:
 xsidplay (2.0.2-3) unstable; urgency=low
 .
   * Don't let upstream config.status ruin the build process, delete it before
     building.

Regards,
Laszlo/GCS
