Hypre is not building properly due to the following linking problems:
* i386: libHYPRE_mli.so can't find -lstdc++
* hppa, mips, mipsel: libHYPRE_mli.so can't find -lmpi_cxx
The latter I can understand: the lib is trying to link to an
openmpi-specific lib, which isn't there. It's easily fixed by changing
ot -lmpi++ which will follow the alternatives symlink regardless of the
MPI implementation.
The former is very puzzling. Isn't build-essential supposed to have
libstdc++-dev?
I'm removing that from the linked libs anyway; using mpiCC instead of
mpicc to link should take care of that.
