I have prepared new package to foka for upload a few weeks ago. Not sure he is still working on my changes or he has been very busy. However the package haven't uploaded yet. If you can upload the package shortly, I think you can go ahead. And please also make the build-depends on libsigc++-2.0-dev (>= 2.0.18-2) with the NMU for me.
