Hi, diverting losetup without implementing losetup -f looks quite a serious bug to me. It'd be nice that you reply to #384059 some day, too. Both bugs might be merged at some point, but I think this particular point could be addressed without solving #384059 globally, hence a separate bugreport. About the severity, live-helper breaks for USB images when loop-aes-utils is installed. I'll try and push a workaround there, and eventually lower the severity if that workaround is merged.
