Hi,

the bug was reported on July 9th. According to
http://buildd.debian.org/build.php?arch=alpha&pkg=ftgl, the package was
built successfully in the same version on alpha on July 22th.

As I said earlier, I think I once *was* able to reproduce it, but this
is no longer possible. So this seems to be fixed by some change in a
build-dependency. 

One less.
