Hello Marc, > Package: munin-node > Version: 1.2.6-5 > Severity: normal > > This may be a policy violation, which would be Severity: serious. > > When I decide that a certain value does not need to be plotted and > delete a file from /etc/munin/plugins, it is regenerated on postinst > of the next munin-node install. I think that a local admin decision > to delete a file needs to be respected. thanks for the report! But I think you are wrong :-). If you install munin-node for the first time the munin-node-configure initialises all the plugins. If you reinstall the package (or install a newer version) munin-node-configure runs with the option '--newer' and touches only plugins which are added in the new version. I tried several times but i cannot reproduce the bug: * i removed munin-node from my laptop (apt-get remove --purge ..) * installed 1.2.6-5 from testing -> munin-node-configure runs in postinst * then i deleted /etc/munin/plugins/load and .../df * if i reinstall 1.2.6-5 load and df doesn't reappear
best regards, Matthias
