I've put an i386 debug package at: http://the.earth.li/~huggie/xfce4-mpc-plugin-debug/ Can you install that package and then also please install: libglib2.0-0-dbg libgtk2.0-0-dbg libxfce4util4-dbg libxfcegui4-4-dbg xfce4-panel-dbg Then if you restart the panel and send us the trace then hopefully we can start to track this down.
