and glibc-2.3.5 is not part of sid. also, please read the g++-4.0 transiotion plan[0]. kde is expected to be broken and unbuildable currently on sid. If you want to _use_ kde, use etch or sarge versions of kde. If you want to help, you can start by compilig qt-x11-free (without firebird support ) and x11-xorg from the x strike force svn[1] with gcc4, and then start compiling kde 3.4 packages with gcc4. looking on gcc4/kde3.3 bugs may be a wasted effort, unless the same bugs persist in kde 3.4 as well.
