That's because I've built the pyscrabble-server package so that pyscrabble-server can be started automatically from /etc/init.d/pyscrabble, running under a dedicated account "pyscrabble". I did not mean for it to be run manually. It might have been a mistake to install pyscrabble-server in /usr/games. It's possible that it should have been installed in /usr/sbin even though it's a game server.
