Package: svgatextmode Version: 1.9-20 Severity: serious Between Etch and Lenny, the console-tools package was dropped and replaced by kbd. This necessitated a change in the configuration file for the svgatextmode package, called /etc/TextConfig. The name of the font-setting program under console-tools is consolechars. The name of the font-setting program under kbd is setfont. This change was made. Unfortunately, the directory change was not made. consolechars and setfont are not in the same directory. The change made was to change
FontProg "/usr/bin/consolechars -f" to FontProg "/usr/bin/setfont" Unfortunately, the setfont program is in /bin, not /usr/bin, as the "whereis" program will verify. The above line should read FontProg "/bin/setfont" There are a couple of commented-out places where this is wrong too. There is also a commented-out place where /usr/lib/kbd/consolefonts is referenced as the font path. This should be /usr/share/consolefonts.
