Anyway, the test is as follows: svn co http://svn.xiph.org/trunk/vorbis cd vorbis ./autogen.sh --disable-docs make check If the (rather minimal) test suite passes then this is almost certainly this bug: https://trac.xiph.org/ticket/1229 which was fixed with this commit: https://trac.xiph.org/changeset/13657 For a final sanity check, you could probably test either side of that changeset.
