I'm guessing that this is a server system that you're sshing into or a virtual machine or something and so the kernel is not getting a lot of random data.
I'm not entirely sure what to tell you: it's really incredibly important that you have good random data when running krb5_newrealm. I don't know what the lenny kernel will use as a source of random data.
