I would *guess* you have the funky ia32-* packages installed? Which breaks quite horribly, due to stuff like #533540. Hopefully, someone should take over the packages, and put them back into shape so that one can still use 32-bits stuff without having a system broken beyond repair. I *think* that a way for you to get libgphoto2 installed is to get rid of all ia32-related packages, and then to try and finish its configuration.
